These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website **hoko.studio** (the “Site”) and the programs, content, and services offered by HOKO Studio Ltd (“HOKO”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing the Site, contacting us, or enrolling in any HOKO program, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
Please read these Terms carefully. They include important information about your rights, our disclaimers, and limitations on our liability.

Who can use our services
You may use the Site and engage our services only if you are able to form a legally binding contract. If you are under 18, you may use the Site and enquire about our programs only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who will be responsible for agreeing to these Terms and any program agreement on your behalf.
HOKO works with students worldwide, including in Morocco, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and beyond. By using our services from outside the United Kingdom, you accept that these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales (see Governing Law below) and you are responsible for complying with any local laws that apply to you.
Our services
HOKO offers a structured program built around academic direction, structure and discipline, and wellness and balance, delivered through a digital platform and live one-to-one sessions. The specific scope, duration, deliverables, fees, and payment schedule for any program are set out in a separate program agreement or enrolment document provided to you before you enrol. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed program agreement, the program agreement prevails for that engagement.
The content on the Site is provided for general information about our programs and approach. It does not constitute professional, academic, financial, medical, or legal advice, and should not be relied upon as such.
No guarantee of results
This is important, so please read it carefully.
HOKO provides guidance, coaching, structure, and educational support. We do not guarantee any specific outcome, result, or level of performance. In particular, and without limitation:
- We do not guarantee admission to, or acceptance by, any university, college, school, or program.
- We do not guarantee any particular grade, test score, scholarship, ranking, or academic or personal result.
- We are not affiliated with, and do not act on behalf of, any university or admissions body, and we cannot influence their decisions.
Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including each student’s own effort, engagement, ability, circumstances, and the independent decisions of third parties such as admissions committees. Any examples, testimonials, or case studies shared by us reflect individual experiences and are not promises or guarantees of similar results for you. Decisions you make based on our services are your own responsibility.
Fees and payment
The fees for our programs are set out in your program agreement or enrolment document. Unless stated otherwise:
- Fees are payable in accordance with the schedule agreed at enrolment.
- All fees are stated exclusive of any taxes that may apply, unless expressly stated otherwise.
- Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, and you agree to their terms when making a payment.
- Any refund or cancellation rights are governed by your program agreement. Where you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms removes statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Late or missed payments may result in suspension or termination of access to the program, as set out in your program agreement.
Your responsibilities
When using the Site and our services, you agree to:
– Provide accurate, current, and complete information when you contact us or enrol.
– Engage with the program in good faith and take responsibility for your own actions and decisions.
– Not misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, scraping content, or interfering with its operation.
– Not use our services or content for any unlawful purpose or in any way that infringes the rights of others.
Intellectual property
All content on the Site and within our programs — including text, materials, frameworks, methodologies, course content, designs, logos, the HOKO name and brand, graphics, and other materials — is owned by or licensed to HOKO Studio Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use our content solely for your own personal, non-commercial use in connection with the program you have enrolled in. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, resell, sublicense, share with non-enrolled persons, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Confidentiality
Information and materials shared with you as part of a HOKO program are confidential and provided for your use only. Likewise, we will treat the personal information you share with us in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Third-party links and services
The Site may include links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by HOKO. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services, and your use of them is at your own risk.
Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding the Site, its content, or our services, including any implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Subject to the above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss or damage, or for any loss of profits, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or our services.
- We will not be liable for any decision made by a university, admissions body, or other third party, or for any outcome that does not meet your expectations.
- Our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with our services shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by you to us for the specific program giving rise to the claim.
If you are a consumer, these limitations do not affect your statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless HOKO Studio Ltd, its founder, officers, and representatives from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site or our services.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or our services at any time if you breach these Terms or any program agreement, or where we are required to do so by law. The provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law survive termination.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when they were last revised. Changes take effect when posted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, except that, if you are a consumer resident in another country, you may also benefit from any mandatory protections and the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where applicable law so provides.
